You'll have to load the device manager by clicking on start and then you'll have to click run. Performing this task will give you the capability to check if a hardware device is installed properly. After you click start and run you are going to want to type in devmgmt.Msc.
As soon as you're in the device manager you'll just have to click ok on the plus sign which is located next to all the hardware devices. As soon as you do that you must check and see if there are any yellow exclamation points or question marks next to the listed devices. To uninstall a device you just right click on the name of the drive and click uninstall.
Another simple thing you can do to fix errors on a PC is to perform a disk clean up and defragmentation of your hard disk. You will then need to clean your disk by clicking start, all programs, and system tools. From the option you receive you must pick disk cleanup.
